How To : Easy Bun Hair Tutorial For Beginners

In our community we are all about class and style. Hair updos are a very elegant alternative to wearing your hair open. As long as it is easy to achieve I  am all for it! This particular hairstyle is very chic and in my video I explain it  in easy to follow simple steps . Here are the products that you need in order to achieve this effortless looking style:

All you need is hairspray ( I recommend using Elnett hairspray), bobby pins, a comb and hair extensions if your hair is rather thin. For example you can use human hair or synthetic hair extensions. Or you can use a hair donut (for dark or light hair) to achieve this look.

Firstly, comb through your hair and secure it with an elastic on top of your head. Now your hair should be in a nice ponytail. If you have short hair or very thin hair then I recommend using hair extensions. You can purchase them already manufactured as a ponytail or as strands of hair. There are human hair extensions or synthetic ones. I always prefer human hair, because it looks much more natural. On top of that, if someone touches your hair you don’t have to worry to appear cheap or that the person finds out that it’s not your hair….Nobody will notice that it’s not your own hair when you choose the human hair extensions!

Now choose the place of the highest point of your ponytail, because this is where your bun will be later on. Then take a hairdonut as listed below and place it around the highest point of your ponytail. Start now by taking the lower parts of your hair and wrap it around the donut. You can be messy here it doesn’t need to be perfect. In fact, it looks much better and more elegant when the hair appears to be a little loose. It should look as if you didn’t pay much attention to it. Now you can take bobby pins and secure the strands of hair which are out-of-place. You can be creative here and use as much bobby pins as you like.

Then take your favorite hair spray , I love to use Elnett. In my opinion it is the best one to use. Your hair doesn’t stick together and you can easily comb through if you accidentally used to much product. And that’s it! You are done.
